The ongoing initiative was to empower every participant to grow their own food within minimal confines of space. Kitchen gardening was the strategy behind this where organic farming maximized the effectiveness of yielding crop. As a result, the gardener would harvest highly nutritious food for consumption, to farm without replacing seeds for multiple seasons, and to profit from selling if commercial. Multiple guest speakers such as Ben Kiplagat led the event with lectures and demonstration on how to maximize produce using the equipment. Also, religious leaders, healthcare providers, and other professionals joined our Director Jacobet Wambayi PhD in making the event a success.<\/p>\n<p>Uzima Women Relief Group International is launching a Kenyan chapter.
