Age Well At Home

Funded by the Government of Canada’s Age Well at Home Initiative. The project entitled “Expanding effective organizational capacity to support Black seniors To Improve their lives” is carried out by Uzima Women Relief Group International in partnership with Kenya Canadian Association (KCA) in Toronto and Bridge To Oasis (BTO) Foundation in Calgary.
The project expands beneficial services provided to Black Seniors and provides educational sessions to service providers to increase their understanding of the care needs that may be unique to improving the lives of Black seniors and build their capacity in providing support for Black seniors in a culturally appropriate manner.
New Horizons for Seniors

The project aims to enhance and empower Black Seniors in Toronto and the GTA to have a positive and healthy aging life due to the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project also provides support to combat food insecurity. Funded by the provincial government. The BMFF project is funded by City of Toronto.
