Vivian Mante is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting the Black community in the pursuit of an equitable and inclusive environment. In her role as a Community Outreach Worker at the African Canadian Social Development Council, Vivian actively engages with community members in various outreach activities, providing information on resources and referral services, organizing virtual workshops and community meetings, and maintaining an extensive network of over 115 African community non-profit partners.
Vivian’s contributions are critical to the promotion of programs and services offered by community member agencies, facilitating the implementation of outreach plans for client services, and providing assistance with grant writing and project implementation.
Moreover, Vivian is actively involved in planning and coordinating conferences and workshops for seniors and is instrumental in delivering virtual information sessions. Vivian also collaborates with partner agencies to introduce new workshops that are aligned with community needs.
In addition to her professional work, Vivian volunteers her time to assist seniors with computer literacy programs, thereby underscoring her unwavering dedication to community service. Vivian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. She is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys interior decorating in her leisure time.
