Membership

Three categories

Members can be anybody — you, family members, siblings, friends — as long as you can advocate for the cause or are simply interested in helping move it forward. Anyone with a passion to alleviate the burden of women affected by poverty and disease globally is welcome.

Community member

Individual — $20 non-refundable, $10 annual subscription

Joint / spouse — $30 non-refundable, $15 annual subscription

A vote on motions and board elections, plus the opportunity to reach out to other community members and national and international networks, and demonstrate your commitment to their needs.

Group membership

$50 non-refundable, $20 annual subscription

Network and feature your organization on our media platforms, including the Uzima website · assistance raising the profile and legitimacy of your work through news, events, programming ideas and joint activities · letters of support from Uzima when your group seeks funding — Uzima holds charitable status and can act as a trustee.

Corporate membership

$75 non-refundable, $40 annual subscription

Publicity for your business at our fundraising dinners and on our website · a tax receipt for donations through our charitable status · an enhanced profile for giving back in Canada and globally · letters of support when your organization seeks funding or partnerships.

Capture the Moment: Uzima Portrait Auction

An exclusive online auction for a stunning family portrait from Artage Portraits. The winning bidder received a $3,000 gift certificate for a professional renaissance-style family portrait session — a 14" wall portrait on canvas, lavish artistry, home delivery, and all fees included.

All proceeds went directly to Uzima programs empowering marginalized communities — providing essential resources, education and support.
